Forest School

Each class has 2 hours of Forest School a fortnight with our Forest School's teacher, Mrs Ewen.  The sessions teach children about taking responsibility, following rules and listening to instructions. They build independence as the children are encouraged to show through their actions that they can be trusted with certain jobs. Children also develop resilience as they work together to complete tasks. Each session has a different focus and they provide an opportunity for children to deepen their knowledge of their natural surroundings.
